On Tuesday, March 19, at 12:15, join MA alum Sarah Stanley as part of our Alumni at Work series. Each year we invite alumni to video in from their places of work and talk to current students about what they’re doing, their particular paths, and answer questions. Sarah received her MA from BGC in 2016 with a QP entitled “Transcending Form: Natural Structures in Lace and Architecture, 1850-1900.” She is currently Curator at the William King Museum of Art in Abingdon, Virginia, where she curated their current textile show, “Intertwined: Regional Textile Traditions.” Sarah has a BA from William & Mary and worked as an apprentice weaver at Colonial Williamsburg before grad school.
