Join master folding artist Joan Sallas for an interactive workshop. Sallas will demonstrate how to fold and—more importantly—how to read the fold: the stories of the past, the human essence of the present, and the hopes for the future.

Joan Sallas, a virtuoso of the fold, has meticulously researched and mastered the history and techniques of the art of the fold. With the banquet table as setting, his expertise and philosophy pour forth in the form of splendid, folded linen. In addition to contributing to the Staging the Table exhibition, Sallas is a resident artist and scholar at Bard Graduate Center this week.
