Dear *|FNAME|*,

Thank you for being an important part of Bard Graduate Center. Your participation means a great deal to us as we pursue our mission to be a leader in the field of decorative arts, design history, and material culture.

This fall Bard Graduate Center will present SIGHTLINES on Peace, Power & Prestige: Metal Arts in Africa, which expands on an exhibition originally organized by the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art at the University of Florida, curated by Susan Cooksey. SIGHTLINES, curated by associate professor Drew Thompson, brings together leading contemporary artists with historic African metal works featured in Peace, Power & Prestige. Through its dynamic design by internationally acclaimed architects Emanuel Admassu and Jen Wood (AD-WO), the resulting presentation at Bard Graduate Center creates literal and metaphorical ‘sightlines’ among the objects on view.
