Ceramics Study Workshop

Join us as artist and scholar Michelle Erickson leads a hands-on object study session on historical ceramics. Erikson is a renowned studio potter who moves fluidly across the fields of archaeology, technologies of making, and contemporary art. In this workshop, she will address a range of forms, materials, and techniques. This event, open to the BGC community only, builds upon her lecture, “Making History: The Art and Politics of Clay,” Tuesday, January 21 at Bard Graduate Center, 6–7:30 pm.
