Materials Days are a series of events held throughout the year to give you hands-on learning experiences led by makers. The first one will be a glass blowing workshop at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn. This workshop is required for all first year MA students.

We have arranged two workshops at UrbanGlass—one on Sunday, September 22, and one on Saturday, September 28. Both run from 10 am to 1 pm. Each of you will attend one of these sessions; it is not a two part workshop.

Please RSVP to alec.newell@bgc.bard.edu by Thursday, September 12, ranking the dates, 1 as your first choice, 2 as your second, or let us know if you don’t have a preference. After we hear from everyone we will be back in touch with the final groups. In the meantime, if you have any questions, just let us know.
