Tyler Gunther
Greedy Peasant

Since the plague quarantine, Tyler Gunther has been creating art as a full time medieval peasant on TikTok and Instagram.  This online art practice is inspired by the flamboyant pageantry of the Middle Ages and its connection to the queer imagination. In this student-curated Tuesday Tea, we will snap together medieval-inspired halos while Gunther traces how this journey has evolved according to the unique demands of the algorithm.
