Anne Hunnell Chen
Bard College

In this Tuesday Tea, Anne Hunnell Chen will introduce the work of the International [Digital] Dura-Europos Archive (IDEA), a radically collaborative digital humanities initiative aimed at addressing problematic legacies downstream of colonially-entangled excavations. She will introduce Linked Open Data methods, and demonstrate how the Wikidata platform can be used to digitally “braid” locally-grounded and stratigraphic knowledge together to reshape a digital footprint dominated by voices from the Global North.
