LaGuardia Community College and the Bard Graduate Center are pleased to invite you to the virtual opening of Connecting Threads – a digital exhibition created and curated by LaGuardia students exploring the social lives of clothing and fashion items.

About Connecting Threads

Through this exciting partnership, LaGuardia students and BGC faculty and staff come together in the study of material culture with workshops, student-led experiential learning, and the creation of a digital exhibition. This project is co-curricular, involving students from two separate honors courses at LaGuardia – Professor Filip Stabrowski’s Fall Honors Cultural Anthropology, and Professor Liena Vayzman’s Spring Honors Art & Society course.
