Majolica Mania has been a labor of love for almost six years. Research was shaped into a gallery exhibition, then a catalogue, and now an online exhibition website. With each new venue for displaying and interpreting the story of majolica, BGC has brought together diverse skills and expertise to create innovative and engaging presentations that further illuminate this rich topic.

The online iteration of the landmark Majolica Mania exhibition is in its final phases of design and testing. Once it is launched, new content will be added regularly over the next six months leading up to the opening of the physical exhibition in September.

Please join Bard Graduate Center’s designers, researchers, and digital exhibitions team for an invitation-only program about the design and construction of the online exhibition. The program will include ample time for questions.
