Bard Graduate Center Gallery

Bard Graduate Center Gallery reopens its doors on March 25, for the spring 2022 Focus Project Exhibitions, Conserving Active Matter and Richard Tuttle: What Is the Object?

The exhibitions Conserving Active Matter and Richard Tuttle: What Is the Object? invite us to reflect on our relationship with objects and how we care for them, as artifacts to be studied and preserved, as equipment to assist us with daily tasks, as personal items imbued with memory and meaning, as sources of inspiration and awe.

Purchase of ticket provides entry into both exhibitions. Proof of COVID vaccination, photo ID, and the use of masks are required of all visitors to BGC Gallery. Please see our visitor policies for all up-to-date COVID policies.

Conserving Active Matter is part of Cultures of Conservation, a multi-year initiative generously supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. More information about the initiative can be found here.

This exhibition and publication are generously supported by donors to Bard Graduate Center.
