Registration is now open for Bard Graduate Center’s first student-led graduate symposium since 2012. Entitled “Sensing Matters: Objects, Experiences, and Objects,” this symposium aims to explore how material things become animated through sensory engagement and how attention to the sensorium alters our understanding of them. Four moderated sessions with New York City-based graduate scholars will explore new lines of inquiry, provoke unexpected connections, and expand object-focused scholarship within BGC and the broader New York City graduate community.
