Please join Bard Graduate Center faculty, staff, and alumni on Saturday, October 23 for a virtual event celebrating the life of Heather Jane McCormick. A graduate of BGC’s MA program in 1998, Heather Jane went on to pursue her PhD at BGC, focusing on the sculptor Ernst Plassmann, and serve as the project editor for The History of Design, 1400–2000. She is remembered as a beloved student, colleague, and friend whose warmth and intelligence enriched the Bard Graduate Center community for more than two decades.

The event will be live-streamed via Zoom and feature tributes from her BGC colleagues, family members, and close friends, as well as a video montage of photos and remembrances. If you wish to contribute to the montage, please upload your remembrance as an image or video file to this Google Drive folder. The deadline for submission is October 6.
