Dear *|FNAME|*,
As we approach the final weeks of our highly acclaimed exhibition, Sonia Delaunay: Living Art, we invite you to take a last, in-depth look at this vibrant celebration of her work.
Even if you’ve already experienced the exhibition, you’ll find it rewarding to spend more time with the rare objects and textiles on display. Each visit reveals new perspectives and insights.
In fact, our neighbor, the pop icon and social justice activist Cyndi Lauper, told us that she’s visited four times and is inspired by Delaunay’s use of bold color. Her repeated visits underscore the depth and allure of the artist’s work.
To ensure you have ample opportunity to immerse yourself in all 180 objects on display, we have instituted two days of early hours during the penultimate week of the show.
Early Access Hours:
- Tuesday, June 25: 10–11 am
- Thursday, June 27: 10–11 am
During these special hours, you can enjoy a peaceful, uncrowded viewing experience among fellow members and friends of BGC before the gallery opens to the public. This is a unique chance to connect more deeply with Delaunay’s kaleidoscopic output, spanning from the early Parisian avant-garde of the 1910s to her spirited “second Golden Age” in the 1970s.
