Dear *|FNAME|*,

Enjoy new online programs at BGC this month! Get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Phillips Design Sale; take a virtual tour of BGC’s wildly popular 2018 exhibition, French Fashion, Women, and the First World War; and make a hat in Central Park with the little one in your life!

On Wednesday, May 26th from 5:30 to 6:15 pm, BGC will host Phillips Design specialists Kim Sørensen (MA ’11), Beth Vilinsky, and Ben Green, who will be giving short talks on some of the highlights of the Phillips Design Sale. Pieces in the sale include a chair by Jean Prouvé, furniture by Marc Newson, and pottery by Lucie Rie. To join us for this exclusive event, please register here.

Back by popular demand, French Fashion, Women and the First World War will return with virtual tours. Join our gallery educators and delve into the dynamic relationship between fashion, war, and gender politics in France during World War I. Several tours are available this month.

Inspired by the hats French women wore during World War I, make your own hat with us in Central Park! Join us on Sunday, May 23rd from 11 am to 12 pm, as we investigate ideas of identity and decoration through interactive activities designed for kids 8-11 and their caregivers. This event is free for members. To learn more, click here. Pre-registration is required.

We are extending all existing memberships until the BGC Gallery reopens in September. Renew before September 2021 and receive a 20% discount on your annual membership which will continue until September 2022.
