Additional Programming: The Iris Foundation Awards Lecture

Each year as part of the Iris Celebration, the honoree for Outstanding Mid-Career Scholar presents the Iris Foundation Awards Lecture.  This year, we are pleased to invite you to join us tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27th, at 6:00 pm (EDT) for our annual lecture delivered by this year’s Outstanding Mid-Career Scholar Sanchita Balachandran. Entitled “Marked in Clay: Interdisciplinary Methods to Re-imagine Ancient Greek Potters at Work,” her talk will explore the lives of potters and painters working in ancient Athens between 625 and 325 BCE.
