Support the Scholars of Today, Shape the Future of Our Field
Join us as we reflect on an extraordinary year at Bard Graduate Center, where our students, scholars, faculty, and staff have been at the forefront of advancing decorative arts, design history, and material culture. Their work, driven by dynamic research and innovative projects, is not only shaping today’s scholarship but also paving the way for tomorrow’s discoveries.
Our scholars—whether students in the classroom, alumni in the field, curators in the galleries, or faculty and staff creating new programs and publications—are pushing the boundaries of object-based learning and cross-disciplinary research. This year’s highlights include the critically-acclaimed Sonia Delaunay: Living Art exhibition, immersive learning experiences in Greece and Paris, and a thought-provoking pop-up installation by Indigenous weaver Meghann O’Brien (Jaad Kuujus), which bridged traditional weaving, digital technology, and collaborative art. For a full look at everything we’ve accomplished in 2024, view our Year in Review HERE.
We invite you to support our vital work by making a year-end gift. Your generosity empowers BGC to continue fostering transformative research, exhibitions, and publications that make a lasting impact on the future of these fields.
