August 14, 2025
Dear Alumni,
August is often a month of great trepidation for me, since it brings the end of summer for those of us on the academic calendar. I realized the back-to-school season was upon us last week when I participated in a seminar on nineteenth-century American photography at the American Antiquarian Society (AAS). I had a wonderful time working with the AAS collection and meeting new colleagues, but I also realized that I will return to the classroom officially in a matter of weeks. In the meantime, let’s make the most of the remainder of August!
If you have news from the summer months or exciting developments ahead in the fall, please share your latest via the online form!
All best,
Julia Carabatsos (MA ’22)
