The Fashion Calendar Database (FCRD), Digital Humanities and the Creative Industries
This demo will present the grant-funded and open-source FCRD, a digitization and digital humanities project that was launched by The Fashion Institute of Technology in November 2023. Natalie Nudell, Director of the FCRD will discuss the project team’s processes, methodologies and challenges, while demonstrating the uses of digital humanities tools and research for understanding the history of fashion and creative industries. Website Design Workshop
This workshop looks closely at expanding WordPress through the Divi Builder and Divi Theme, a set of tools that lets users fully customize the look and functionality of websites without any coding knowledge. Working with Divi’s toolkit, participants will learn how to implement advanced layout designs, develop templates, dynamic page content, and integrate multimedia. This workshop will prove helpful for anyone looking to have more control over the design and functionality of their web-based projects.
