A Practical Introduction to the Basics of Grant Writing

Interested in landing a competitive fellowship? Need additional financial support for your research and travel? Looking for funds to attend/present at a professional conference? Grant writing is an indispensable skill. This workshop will serve as an introduction to researching and identifying funders, writing and submitting persuasive proposals, and reporting on your project’s results in a way that positions you for success with funders in the future. Led by Ruth Epstein, Manager of Institutional Giving and Development at BGC, will be joined by a number of BGC alumni who will share their own experiences in obtaining funding.
