Partnering with the New York Foundation of the Arts, we will offer a two-part workshop for BGC students. The first part will be a panel discussion featuring a variety of professionals from the arts world, sharing their experiences navigating the job market and working in the arts. The second part will give you the opportunity for one-on-one consulting sessions for feedback on resumes, cover letters, and interview tactics. See below for more information and to rsvp.

Panel Discussion: Locating a Job in the Arts World

Join this online conversation to gain perspectives on how to strategize on your goals and find the career path that you are passionate about. You’ll hear directly from professionals and experts from museums and other cultural institutions who will provide insight into the current job market in the arts field. They will discuss strategies and practical tips on job searching. There will also be breakout groups where you can ask specific questions and have a dialogue with the guest arts professionals.

One-on-one Consultation

Through this program, BGC students will receive advice and guidance in one-on-one 30 minute sessions with expert consultants. Use this time to review resume and cover letters, discuss job searching strategies, and get career advice.
