Materials Days are a series of events held throughout the year to give you hands-on learning experiences led by makers. The first one will be a glass blowing workshop at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn. This workshop is required for all first year MA students.

We have arranged four workshops at UrbanGlass—Saturday, October 9, Sunday, October 10, Saturday, October 16, and Sunday, October 17. All four run from 10 am to 1 pm. Each of you will attend one of these sessions; it is not a four part workshop.

Please RSVP to alec.newell@bgc.bard.edu by Friday, September 24, ranking the dates, 1 as your first choice, 2 as your second, or let us know if you don’t have a preference. After we hear from everyone we will be back in touch with the final groups. In the meantime, if you have any questions, just let us know.
