Please join us for another “career conversation,” where alumni of BGC join faculty in an informal conversation on their professional experiences and careers. This event, moderated by Associate Professor Catherine Whalen, will focus on craft and design in New York City and beyond. The panelists will look at their respective institutions’ approaches to collecting and interpreting objects variously categorized as art, craft, or design, and share their perspectives on points of distinction as well as overlap among these terms. Refreshments will be provided.
