Dear Prospective Student,

I was disappointed not to get the chance to meet you at the California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education back in April. I’m writing now to invite you to one of Bard Graduate Center’s open houses this fall for our MA/PhD program in decorative arts, design history, and material culture.

These events, all of which will be remote, will be held on Sunday, October 18, Tuesday, November 17, and Thursday, December 10 and will give you the opportunity to hear much more about our object-based approach to history. If you are thinking about a career in museums, or heritage work, or historic preservation, or are looking for an interdisciplinary graduate program to help prepare you for a different path, I’d urge you to consider joining us this fall to learn more about BGC. For more details and to register for an open house, go here.

You will find more information on our faculty and program on our website, and I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have.

With all good wishes,

Keith Condon
Director of Admissions and Student Affairs
