Materials Days are a series of events held throughout the year to give BGC students hands-on learning experiences led by makers. The first one will be a glass blowing workshop at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn. Under the guidance of instructors, students will have the opportunity to create an object using different colors and decorating techniques.

We have arranged two workshops at UrbanGlass—Saturday, October 5, from 2 to 5 pm and Saturday, October 19, from 2 to 5 pm. Each student should choose one session; it is not a two-part workshop.

Please RSVP to keith.condon@bgc.bard.edu by end of day Wednesday, October 2, stating your first choice in date to attend or if you have no preference. Once we hear from everyone, final groups will be announced. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
