Bard Graduate Center invites families to participate in a Drop-in Kids’ Workshop led by educators from The U’mista Cultural Centre and delegates from the Kwakwaka‘wakw (pronounced: KWOK-wok-ya-wokw) community in British Columbia. Explore the current exhibition The Story Box: Franz Boas, George Hunt and the Making of Anthropology and learn about the significance of shapes in material artifacts, past and present. Join us for storytelling, song, and art making activities designed to foster empathy and creativity.
