Dear BGC Friends,

Lots of work is going into helping us safely return to 86th Street in September. Click here to learn about some of the screening procedures being put in place starting today. A handbook that describes all of the policies and procedures to help us stay healthy once we are in the buildings is in the works, and we will share that in the coming weeks. In the meantime, click below to learn what you need to do before entering the buildings.

In response to a recent request for a single place to look for BGC policies online, we are excited to introduce Bard Graduate Center HQ, a forum for all things BGC. Here you can find company-wide announcements, community message boards, and much more. Basecamp, the software that runs our “HQ” is also used by several departments to manage projects with Marketing, Communications, and Design. Now anyone at BGC can use it to manage any kind of project as well. If you would like to learn more about using Basecamp for project management, click here or email Amy or Maggie.

Ask BGC: international student visa concerns, DEAI reporting and accountability, and more!

We had a series of Ask BGC questions for this issue that required thinking from many different people.  A group that included Keith Condon, Amy Estes, Tim Ettenheim, Peter Miller, Carla Repice, and Emily Reilly met to discuss answers to these questions.

Read the Ask BGC questions and answers here.

Want to ask a question for an upcoming Town Hall, or to be answered privately? Visit the Ask BGC form. All submissions are 100% anonymous unless name and email are provided.

In Solidarity

Take a look, and contribute to BGC’s Collaborative Resource List to get involved, learn, and take action in the fight for social justice. New additions include a resource list for kids and families, readings, and much more.

Wellness
