I’m pleased to let you know that Ama Codjoe, an independent social justice consultant and facilitator, will guide a series of discussions with BGC alums and members of the BGC community this fall. I hope very much you will participate. The purpose of these dialogues will be to discuss

how BGC might prioritize initiatives proposed in the recent Alumni Open Letter, based on which will have the greatest impact on current and future students, balanced with what BGC is capable of doing now and what we aspire to do in the future;
how we can best integrate the recommended new initiatives with what is already under way at BGC; and
how alumni and current students can best continue collaborating with BGC faculty and staff.

Tuesday, November 10, 5:30–7 pm EST
BGC’s DEAI Working Group will share its research and findings from 2019–20 and its plans for continued work this fall; BGC alums, along with current BGC students, faculty, staff, and leadership are invited to attend.

BGC Alumni Involvement Discussion
Tuesday, December 8, 5:30–7 pm EST
In this session, BGC alumni will discuss how they would like to engage with BGC’s DEAI initiatives moving forward. This session is for alumni only.
