Dear Educators,
As the school year gets underway, we hope you’ll consider a visit to Bard Graduate Center Gallery. During a visit to the gallery students see objects up close, think critically about the power of objects, and build meaningful connections to their own lives. We offer guided 60 and 90 minute visits. Title 1 and NYCDOE school visits are free! Click here to download a PDF of the Educator Guide for our current exhibition Agents of Faith: Votive Objects in Time and Place.
We are currently accepting reservations (October 22, 2018–January 6, 2019) and encourage you to schedule your visit before all spaces are filled. Book now by calling 212.501.3013 or email tours@bgc.bard.edu. For more information visit Gallery Education and Programs.
You can also join the community of learners engaging with material culture! Our fall course for the general public opens our extensive Study Collection for hands on workshops. Materials and Making is a object handling course taught by our world-renowned faculty and alumni. To learn more visit Public Education Courses.
