Materials Days are a series of events held throughout the year to give you hands-on learning experiences led by makers. In this Materials Day students will spend the day at Brooklyn Metal Works making pierced multi-layered sterling silver rings and stacking rings. In this workshop students will learn how to fabricate a multi-layered ring and stacking rings in sterling silver using traditional jewelry techniques. A variety of techniques will be covered and each student will walk away with custom designed rings.
